There's a LOT to track, but we figured out a solid workflow that uses The Post's LLM to drastically cut down the manual work. We decide what gets shown on the page, but the computers make it manageable for just me to update. My first real use of AI for journalism.

The LLM basically takes a first pass at the job. For each story and live blog item, I send the headline and first paragraphs through with a system prompt explaining the type of content we want on the page. This all goes into a Google Sheet where I make the final calls.
