Dettol does work. But one very very important thing. Don't add water to it. If you do, then the acrylic will turn into a sticky goo that's potentially even harder to remove.

Just try to peel off the paint with a toothpick out of the pot, and try to get as much off as possible before rinsing.

Apparently Fairy Power Spray, or similar cleaners, are great at getting rid of the smell.

It's original recipe used to be my go-to for model stripping.

Dettol does work, it's pretty safe but obviously doesn't smell great. Biostrip is available here, works in minutes, and smells nice too.
As for what's in there - I definitely see a warlock, and at least one fire dragon?

As others have said Biostrip 20 is soo much better because it doesn't leave the models smelling, it works well in metal, really well on plastics. It does OK on resin, but DO NOT leave it in for long( I manage between 20 minutes/half an hr soak, depending on how thick the paint is), or it gets soft.

From my experience, biostrip 20 is fantastic. Also, it is much less smelly than dettol. Good luck in your endeavours, however!
