I'm playing Star Citizen right now, and it's running perfectly. Was playing Enshrouded earlier. Again, perfectly.
Steam Proton is a game changer. Was basically the last piece I needed to flip over to Linux full time.

I’ll look into proton. While I was deployed a buddy of mine ran all his LAN party games on Linux but had a bunch of trouble with online gaming. That was 2 years ago now tho so I’m sure it’s only gotten better.

Switched to Linux in 2015. Still gaming on it in 2024. Backlog has only grown. Just because it doesn't work for you doesn't mean others can't make it do whatever they want.
