I guess what I don't understand here is why no one is trying to prove the election was rigged by Musk (which he and Trump have apparently admitted to). With proof can the results not get Trump out of the Whitehouse?

No hard evidence. People want to believe it because it would restore their faith in humanity, and get him out.
The truth is enough uneducated, bigoted, and/or wealthy people want this. He exposed how fragile our government is. It allowed a felon to say “Poof, I’m popular so I escape justice”.
