Multidimensional Eldritch Gods are only seen when they want to be, and for good reason as it can drive a mortal quite insane to see one unprepared. Luckily Rikki being there for his emergence was, not prepared, but open to being 'helped' into seeing the part of him that emerged into her universe.

Didn't quite prepare her for what he did after but that's another comic entirely.

I wouldn't be surprised if her neighbors move out. Weird dreams, creepy feelings of unease. The sensation of their souls being sniffed at by something nearby doesn't register consciously but makes quite the sensation.
