Even good teams get burned in the NBA from time to time, but they don’t quit.
But now all those players have burned through 2 years of their contracts, and you no longer have time.
They have to start resetting the board.
This is about the best I expected of the Pistons this year. Not good, but to me at least watchable >50% of the time. Better than when I just hate watched the last few years.
Langdon might turn out to be mediocre to bad, way too early to say good or bad. But nothing so far screams bad decisions. Signed vets that theoretically would complement the young guys, didn't sign 5 centers. Baby steps
They should've been here last year and building off it now.
So yes, in a vacuum, this roster & season is better. If folks think it's truly a competitive team as constructed ...
