It is so cringe-worthy, trying to pretend to be correct and relevant while spreading so much disinformation! Now pretending again that SARS-CoV-2 damages "the immune system" by extrapolating specific LongCovid cohorts. It is so bad to see people falling for this.
Why is this wrong again?

This highlight in Science is about this paper:
https://www.science.org/doi/10.1126/science.adg7942
The authors tested 3 groups: 39 non-infected, infected and recovered and 40 LongCovid patients.
What is of interest is that the patients showed signs of antibody-mediated activation of the classical complement pathway,
Measles has a similar effect.
There is no data that SARS-CoV-2 does this or anything else. But do surprise me with the evidence.
Rules: no reviews, no cherry-picking, no subgroups like LC patient cohorts. Supply the main figure, the link and your argument why that is showing immune system damage.

"Most dying monocytes in the blood of patients with COVID-19 had activated inflammasomes, suggesting that monocytes are dying of pyroptosis"
The damage causes inflammation 😳
Well, than any infection and any inflammatory event is immune damage. Interesting....
🥺
