Trump, of course, sets a whole new "standard" of lying. It's a lot more efficient to pick out the few times when he tells a truth.

Republicans lie more than Democrats because MAGA demands the lies.
MAGA has become a tribe, anyone not in the tribe is the enemy. The enemy must lose at all costs, so they demand lies that show those Americans outside of their tribe as evil and losing.
The lie is the food the feeds their tribe.
