I always thought the flying car concept was a terrible idea. Now, even more so. Imagine the catastrophic destruction that would probably happen with some version or branch of the FAA directing automotive air traffic under the Trump regime.

No flying cars in my novels and they are actually pretty grim (and sort of prophetic since I wrote the 1st during the previous Trump regime) but if you like badass heroines, check them out: Children of the Revolution and its sequel, The Night Prophet—literally, look for them at your library!

Well if we are talking about predictive sci fi, I will recommend you read the Jane Hawk series by Dean Koontz. It frighteningly mirrors many of the Trump/Musk/Project 2025 actions. But it also gives us a preview of the way this kind of thing can be stopped.
