I've been through a consult to have my impacted, painful wisdom teeth extracted as an adult and then lost my insurance two weeks before my planned surgery, TWICE. So now I basically have an (irrational?) fear that if I try a third time I will probably also lose my insurance.
I am extremely feeling this atm. My disabled kid needs to go under anesthesia for a cleaning, and the anesthesiology part isn’t covered by either our shitty shitty dental insurance, not medical. Just out of pocket $2-3k for a cleaning.
