When you are no longer friends with someone, respect the secrets they shared with you.
It's called integrity.
It's called integrity.

All it does is diminish everyone involved
I AM DONE
Secrets and all
I don't know you,
I don't remember you,
I don't want to know anything about you.
And I could really destroy people's marriages or careers with the stuff that I know about them.
The integrity is only rewarded long term and by life at times
me : no, what about?
Friend: well you have to keep it a secret cause I promised NOT to tell anybody.
This is a never ending chain. example in affairs, in most cases your entire circle knows about it, but you, the one that needs to know the most, will find out last!
And I’ll have no remorse
Now if we part on good terms, yeah I'll keep your secrets.
Yes, integrity. A valuable trait to cultivate.
Joking aside, I 100% agree.
I don't remember where I saw this, but it resonates
Needed this after having my heart broken by a trusted friend for over 35 years. ❤️🩹
I have real damning stuff & photos of my ex's transgressions, but I choose not to show our daughter. If she ever does ask, I'll show her. Not until then.
End of a friendship for whatever reason, secrets must be maintained.
Discretion is paramount.
Don’t do it
Recently lost a friend, but, realized, she never respected me or needed my friendship. After 20+ years.
If it ends because they hurt someone I care about, I will burn their life to the ground with what I know.
I don’t care much what people do to me, but don’t hurt those I love. That will bring forth my wrath.
