AHS is being scapegoated throughout this press conference. Even though Smith has fired the AHS Board, multiple times, and installed, and removed, multiple AHS CEOs.

This is so grim. I hate this languaging.
I hope everyone understands the difference between this overarching blame of "AHS" (i.e., the individuals the UCP placed in AHS) and the actual front line staff of AHS who are innocent in all of this.
The message is clear no matter who badly they've screwed up the plan to privatize Alberta healthcare they're not stopping or even pausing for a second.
"When I fired all these people, I knew what I was doing but now that this looks highly suspicious, I knew nothing and wasn't involved"... Danielle Smith, maybe. #ucpcorruption
Frankly too many Canadians - who today complain how Americans are just sitting there 'doing nothing' as Trump sets their democracy on fire - have sat there doing the same thing - nothing - as conservative politicians like Smith and Doug Ford have been committing arson on public universal healthcare.
They aren't holding agencies to account, they are becoming the agencies. Government interference at its finest. Neither Smith nor LaGrange have directly answered one question.

AHS, the public health care provider that we all own. A monopoly.
