We’re also plural. I like that part of his survival is just protecting his soul from being lost to the trauma, since Sir Pentious kind of demonstrates the hotel’s “success” requires a soul to die from hell and be reborn in heaven.
(Jade) Yeah. He now has some hope. He has something to hold onto. We have a plural friend ho is in a situation where he can’t be assertive. In the end, we see bits of Angel’s story in everyone we know who go through something similar. It’s really made Angel one of our favorite characters.
Makes sense. I especially like how this show tackles the trauma bond a victim can form with an abuser, and complicated feelings between them. The scene where Husk (despite being on Alastor’s leash) tries to give him advice and then is “put in his place” and looks dejected felt relatable to me.
