Honestly probably the best option if your electrical boxes have room. Being able to use actual nice switches too his a huge benefit. Would love if someone found a way to make them work with dimmer, too (for remote dimming override)

That would be really nice. Feels like it wouldn’t be too hard either — a matter of timing the chopped signal — yet nobody’s doing it. Any idea what complexity I’m missing? Maybe it’d also need aux power to work for the full dimming range?

I imagine the easy option here is just to interpret the dimming signal from the actual switch and just “proxy” that to the output. If the dim level is change remotely, set to that. If you detect the dim level is changed on the physical switch update to that and report your new dim level
