Don't bother actually getting evidence, claim it's cause you are too busy writing, then attack anyone saying anything else as if that's not permissible: this man needs to come with warning signs ablazing anytime he's in the room or opens his mouth. Uncouth fellow.

Australia banned social media for kids under 16 due to the efforts of South Australia Premier Peter Malinauskas, who made this his quest because his wife read Haidt’s book. So: an entire nation of kids have been cut off from social media because Haidt’s shitty book was convincing to one politician’s spouse. I think the ban will most likely be a big net negative for the kids, but either way, not good for shit science to have this much influence.

I suppose we'll be seeing a giant improvement in wellbeing for Australian children now.

Because governments banning things always works and kids definitely aren't motivated by authority figures telling them they can't do something that other kids their age get to do.
