but the idea of defining sex as "biological sex" still requires you have a definition of that which you know... functions.

so the only possible reading is transgender exclusion from any law not specifically mentioning our place in it.
The perception of you, a transgender woman, as a woman is still very much enough for you to be discriminated against and bring legal action. This is expressly stated in the ruling docs.

Can I still use a woman's space or not? Which is it?
They will have to rewrite this part of the act to remove it if they really want to fuck us.
Further, bigots will now use this to eject us from loos etc and if they can't, they now have the right to use the police to eject us.
They now have legal protection from us, whereas we only have civil protection against them.

Further - they are also going with redefining trans women as men for the purposes of discrimination under gender reassignment and sexual orientation.
E.g. it could make it discrimination to treat a trans woman as a woman.
