The serwer exposes the feed via server.app.bsky.feed.getFeedSkeleton (see: https://github.com/polyvariant/scala-feed/blob/main/src/methods/feed-generation.ts#L9) which according to the docs doesn't take any user info https://docs.bsky.app/docs/api/app-bsky-feed-get-feed-skeleton. This means you can't pass anything about the user to your algorithm to request further info like their follows

I haven't tried that, but if I were to guess, perhaps there's an authenticated counterpart of this api that only serves the feed to the logged in user.

Perhaps someone from #buildinpublic can help, and people are building entire services around bluesky. They will definitely know better 😉

Ah I see, and thx for the hashtag! There are some high-profile feeds that work this way (for instance https://bsky.app/profile/why.bsky.team/feed/infreq) so it would be nice to be able to construct additional ones
