Coke (and Pepsi) in general are bad for people, contributes to osteoporosis (you can look it up). Mexican Coke is much higher in sugar than Am/Can, contributes to high rates of type 2 diabetes there. Diet Coke (diet drinks in general) do not help people lose weight.
Oh, I’m absolutely not advocating for fizzy sugary drinks. I’m just saying if you’re OCCASIONALLY indulging in one, it’s better to have one made with real ingredients than the high fructose corn syrup and chem sugars usually used.
One source stated it was likely part of an overall boycott of US products. I do not drink Coca Cola products but as a US company they are already on my boycott list. I imagine a ban in Mexico as well as Canada will be significant to the company.

It's one of those things that could be difficult to verify. Undocumented immigrants are unlikely to go to the media. It wouldn't serve either ICE or CocaCola well to make this public, either. It seems also to be a protest against Trump's immigration policy in general, however.
We boycotted coke products when the ceo showed up and gave trump a custom bottle of something. Boycott anything a subservient CEO runs as they flock to that disgusting human. Sadly there are many.

I can't find anything anywhere reliable yet about Coke calling ICE, either. The Distractify article linked in these replies says the boycott is just encouraging Latinos to avoid patronizing large US companies and was brought on by the tariff threats, unless I'm experiencing a total reading fail.
