The BC truckers have a reasonable concern about retaliation escalating to their detriment, though, tbh. Only 1% of cargo to Alaska is by land, apparently. Google The Vancouver Sun article today.

It is my understanding that many of the trucks travelling along North America's busiest hiway from Detroit to the St Lawrence are delivering US goods for export to US ships on the seaway.
That hiway is a nightmare for the rest of us. It would be wonderful to have a fee that reduces trucks.
