Carbon tax and rebate was like a universal basic income paid for by the country's largest polluters. The reason it was unpopular is because it was transferring money from corporate shareholders to normal people

I honestly don’t think many cabinet members would change, maybe a few shuffle but not a big change for sure. I see him cleaning up the spending mess and getting some financial direction, as well as creating new trade relationships. I’m banking on his globally established relationships.

He doesn’t have to. Besides those who stepped down or are choosing not to run again, he can just shuffle. I see a handful maybe even keeping their same profiles.

I don’t disagree but for me, he’s the man of the hour. We need a strong economic and globally recognized and experienced driver of the ship, for now. He has global respect and leaders know him.
I’m PRAYING the NDP get a new leader (WAB) and then next election we have good options!
