BU's Professor Barnes promoted to Full Professor!

Jonathan Barnes' “Tonal Center-of-Gravity” theory has gained international attention as a powerful tool for prosodic analysis. He also played a major role in the founding of the Department of Linguistics in 2018, serving as its chair since 2020.
