It's funny cuz Trump is expected to be rooting for the Chiefs which tells you everything because OF COURSE he will be supporting the last team in the NFL holding on to it's racist identity.

Noooo autocorrect changed my its to it's lol dang it. But any way, it's 2025 and here us Natives are still having to assert that We Are A People and #NotYourMascots!
I think I'm gonna pull a "liberal" annoyance of mine and be like "if you don't agree with me then you're MAGA" 🤣 cuz I mean....in this case it's actually true since you're cheering on Trump's side, the owners of the Chief are MAGA, and the name and behavior of fans is steeped in racism.
I jest because look racism and all of these systems of oppression have been ingrained and normalized within every facet of our existence. Because it is ingrained and normalized, folks have a hard time recognizing it and are quick to be angry and defensive because they are a "good person".
But it's not about you being a good or bad person. It's about being teachable and willing to learn and unlearn bad information, behaviors, language, etc in order to do and be better for the people and world around you.
When someone tells you that something is racist, sexist, homophobic, transphobic, etc you may not understand at first because no one else ever said anything to you, other people do it, it isn't your intent or my favorite "You don't understand/You're Wrong".
I really wish more white people understood that being told something they said/did was racist is not necessarily a personal attack, but an opportunity for reflection. We have been raised in a racist system and that impacts us regardless of what we believe our personal views are.
Like I said, it's been ingrained and normalized in our collective psyches and societies in various ways and because we don't always have proximity or communication with each other, we rarely see the impact, therefore rarely see the harm.
