I have a suspicion that the movie made more sense before the reshoots.

Cap 2 used Bucky in the marketing to hide Zola
Cap 3 used The Accords in the marketing to hide Zemo
Would have made sense if Cap 4 used Ross in the marketing to hide Sidewinder and or The Leader.

Like imagine a movie where Red Hulk was the immediate problem, and Sam was working to uncover the conspiracy behind Ross hulking out.

I don't want to say it would have been better, but it would have been more cohesive, especially in regards to the way the movie was marketed.

One of my favourite MCU series, their chemistry and John Walker. Looking forward to Thunderbolts because of it. Brave New World was decent, we mostly enjoyed it. But yea, it could’ve been great if Bucky was in it.

It felt like a movie that was too excited for its ability to connect to the MCU and less about telling a good story about Captain America. Though weirdly was a good story about President Ross

"Brave New World" definitely felt more like a haphazard sequel to The Incredible Hulk (2008) than a fourth installment of the Captain America franchise. It was a good movie, much better than most of the Marvel movies since Endgame. Certainly not a Sam-centric movie, though.

True, especially when discussing if Sam is worthy of the shield. This conversation came up at least thrice in FATWS, and by the finale the show established that Sam deserved the shield. Seeing Bucky's cameo reduced to this same talking point was disappointing.
