A friend at a talent agency didn’t even get codes to give out to people, he just got one applied directly to his account and his coworkers don’t even have any. Only streamer giveaways have friend codes, I got like 7k hours in destiny and no code….this whole thing feels weird and bad

I'm pretty sure Bungie is incapable of emailing me anything anyway so I assumed that wouldn't see an Alpha invite. I never get anything Destiny related including their end of year stat things. (And no they don't go to spam)

This will only add to the negative sentiment surrounding Marathon. Even people that we're excited to check it out can't. We're gonna reach peak negativity this weekend when it's seemingly only content creators playing the game

There are apparently streamers who got codes to give away who didn’t even get their own access code, and I know people in the content space who also didn’t get access. I get it’s not supposed to be a demo but why generate such a buzz when it seems like <20% of applicants got in

If you actually get an email from Bungie it's supposed to give you two other codes to give to your friends. So if you get on can make a full squad

only codes that were given to streamers to be given away to people had the two friend invites which is such a strange overly complicated choice; if you got lucky in a giveaway on twitch you had them but even then i'm hearing people not getting their friend invites to work lol

It's a bummer to not get in and there are signs of poor management with the code stuff...but it's kinda promising to see such an influx and interest in just the Alpha. Feels like the hurdle of "intrigue" is passed

It's just annoying that only content creators got codes to give out tbh. My friend got in and has to lfg a team instead of being able to give someone like myself a code to join them.
