Yeah - I'm trying to withhold judgement until I actually see the anime and gunpla myself... But the designs look weirdly busy. Over-greebled or something.

You know... You say that... And I'm looking at the Gundam's box art up there... And it really kind of looks more like just the inner-frame than a finished Gundam. Like it needs the armor over the top. Maybe that's what they're going for?

I am amazed how detailed the lot looks, but I can’t stand its design. It just doesn’t work for me. Looks … too real(?)… dunno, it’s very different. Really cool they try new things though!

Definitely one of the most polarizing Gundam designs I’ve even seen! Agreed that it’s neat for the teams to try new approaches - like, why not.
