Iβm in a red state too. My son does connections academy online. If the ed dept gets dissolved and connections is no longer funded I donβt know what we will do.
We homeschooled for a year before CA. Most of the resources we found were for religious and antivax moms.
There are many resources out there at the state level and from non-profits (ex.PBSkids for parents and educators). I would go the education site of another state, find the resources for each grade, enough to give you a glimpse and then you can search more specifically for resources based on topic
I homeschool through a charter school, and there are lots of good resources out there that range from affordable to expensive. I wouldn't say great; they are not perfect. You just have to understand that you make the curriculums fit your family's needs and values, not the other way around.
