The USA, Israel and Russia are the new Axis powers.
So it seems to me that the Syrians have to start pushing back sooner than later.
I'm not saying walk up to them and start trying to engage in these pitched setpiece battles. But there are other ways to engage them than that, aren't there?
It's Golani's failure that's emboldened them. Simple as.
Look at this. This is the direct result of the "zero response policy" for over two months now on the part of the "transitional government".
Not to mention there's a lot more space to maneuver for anyone playing defense in Syria as compared to Gaza or south Lebanon.
Besides the standing army, there are dozens if not hundreds of independent militias in Syria.
The IDF is not good on the tactical or strategic level. Their slaughtering civilians en masse is not
Assad's airforce and navy were essentially obsolete. Again, I'm not talking about set-piece battles necessarily.
Possibly we already are living what history in the future will call WWIII
A social war is a war between the wealthy and powerful against society as a whole, normally an extreme overreaction against necessary proposed reforms. The current tactics are chaos, ecocide, and fascism.
