We need WAY more people. These small protests aren't cutting it. They need to be massive, sustained, and nonviolent along with national strikes and boycotts that disrupt business as usual. Trump and his regime aren't even paying attention to a few thousand people. We need a more effective strategy.

Wow... I have to admit, I don't understand this crypto thing. I should really do some research. My dad was a chartered accountant and just said, "Stay away from it," so I've ignored it.

People keep thinking peaceful marches that express discontent will somehow stop all of this. Don't give an excuse for martial law, no J6 type of drama. But I'm no longer so sure of that. On that level, there are days I think we may have already lost. Flat out rebellion may be the only answer left.😔

He tried to get involved in ours, too. We have our share of maple magas up here, but we still do everything the old-fashioned way, so it's harder to cheat. With us, it was a bombardment of American owned media pushing disinformation about the candidate he didn't want. Carney scares Trump.

Still haven't seen any numbers posted from yesterday. Saw one article say 250k nationally, around 10k in Chicago. Saw another that said Chicago had 50k.

I wish my town was not so FKN red. People are very frightened to even put out flags anymore. The MAGA crowd is the only ones who do. So you know where the assholes are. It’s pretty obvious. Seeing these huge crowds at protests is very encouraging. I feel it will spread into my community soon. 🇺🇸🥰
I don't know where you live, but in my state, Virginia, there are anti-Trump/Musk rallies and marches in even the Red-ist places -- and they grow in number every time.
All the signs, all the symbolism is just whitewash, until "The People" actually put boots to the ground and do something to make the change they need. Trump and his magots aren't going to pay no mind to "spirited shows and demonstrations".
Time is running out. The US deserves so much better!
This is boots on the ground & elected legislators are getting the message. Demonstrating is one of the most powerful non-violent form of opposition. It's been used successfully for decades in many countries.
