This has been my mission for almost exactly a year and I'm so happy that we finally did it. Ember has a bright future ahead of it, and I'm happy to have been part of the team that made this happen.

There are some people who were instrumental in getting us this far.

Firstly there is @eaf4.com who is the creator of Embroider. We couldn't have even begun to get Ember on Vite without him. He has also been a personal mentor this past year and helped me to grow as an Engineer.

Next there is @academiedesrenards.bsky.social who was my partner in the Embroider Initiative and her dedication and attention to detail has no doubt contributed to the amazing upgrade experience that we're hoping to give existing Ember apps.

Then there is my boss @marcoow.bsky.social, without him creating the Embroider Initiative at @mainmatter.com we wouldn't have been able to dedicate so much full-time work to getting the job done and we would probably have had to wait another year to get this far because of OSS timelines 🫠

And we of course need to thank all of the companies that contributed to the Embroider Initiative. Without them actually reaching into their pockets and committing to Ember we wouldn't have been given so much time to work on Embroider. I will always be grateful ❤️
