Putin’s regime is the aggressor and needs to be stopped. Trump’s delusional and baseless claim that Ukraine started the war is just one of and endless line of lies trying to justify cooperation with Putin.
This is a direct Putin talking point: that Ukraine "started" the war in 2014, when pro-democracy protesters in Crimea ousted a Russian puppet government, which sparked the annexation by Russia.
