Most if not all anti-theists are blatantly reactionary and bigoted in their opposition to religion. They don't argue in good faith or care to learn about the beliefs they crusade against. They're incurious and lazy in their arguments, and their favorite bad faith argument, in my experience, is-

An easy example is argument against many Christians: "Ha! Don't you ignorant fools realize your religion forbids eating shellfish or wearing mixed fabrics? You're all hypocrites!" In reality, those rules regarding shellfish and clothing-
-were part of the old covenant as outlined in the Old Testament. Most Christians see the coming of Christ as a new covenant, and therefore don't feel obligated to follow the old rules. But a bunch of anti-theist dorks don't care to learn enough to see that their arguments are straight up inaccurate.
The same thing is done with queerphobia as it relates to Christianity, as well as the other Abrahamic religions. They'll claim those religions are inherently homophobic, when in reality plenty of Jews, Muslims, and Christians embrace compassionate and accepting interpretations of scripture-
