I would be fine with small time copyright, one proposal I have would be a years of creation +2 for time for copyright so if it took 5 years to make you have 7 years to profit exclusively from it. I'd also potentially be fine with copyright of the exact work but not the concepts in the work. - ThreadSky

I think non-transformative distribution feels like a no-brainer for me.

For some period of time not 100 years after death but you know, some amount of time maybe even the creators life although I prefer the idea of it being some smaller amount of time for sure. I understand wanting to be able to sell the thing you made.

it to be less. Like if your a working artist your probably working for some company and part of a big cog and your work may be shelved to never be released, canceled, put out to die and then never again is there a follow up, never reprinted, where if you could just do that they couldn't stop you.

I generally feel like in the case of artists working for companies, employers should never be entitled to the intellectual properties of their employees. That is a practice that hurts creativity alot, look at comic creators where less and less creatives are willing to creat unique concepts.
