One of the silliest things that happens is when someone looks at someone's greek myth adaptation and then gets involved with fandom and finds someone enjoying something "problematic" and is shocked. That's like what greek myth is.

Anyone who has even cursory knowledge of Greek Mythology will know a good chunk of the stories from Greek myth are catalyzed by one of the gods (usually Zeus) raping something or someone
That's a big thing for a lot of modern pagans, we realize they're not great beings and the problems but would never do those things ourselves. It's more "here's an example of what not to do" than other modern religions "here's a list of things not to do"
this doesn’t inherently involve paganism or it’s belief system. you are entirely within your rights to believe that. if you think that’s true that’s fine. but that doesn’t mean it encapsulates other greek-based religions. many currently accept racism, pedophilia and misogyny.
Someone made a big stink about the EPIC musical having a song about the VILLAIN singing about how he was going to force himself upon Penelope and this person, who claimed to have studied Greek Mythos, said it was PROBLEMATIC. We can't have villains anymore
Just like every classic human tale, Greek mythology is about people and the supernatural being horny, messy, and violent. Of course it's gonna be problematic; it's about us.
