Sometimes I kinda beat up on myself for my various and numerous failures of character, but it is some comfort to me that I really have no intuitive or empathetic grasp of what it must be like to be someone like Marco Rubio and to be willing to do the things he is willing to do.

π« πΊπΈπΊπ¦ Zelensky should apologize for his dispute with Trump and Vance at the White House, says U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio:
βHe didnβt need to go there and be hostile. I think he should apologize for wasting our time on a meeting that was bound to end this way.β

I lose a lot of sleep over having a heated argument with a family member or co-worker. If I did something like Rubio did, I don't think I'd sleep another night in my life. I would be suicidal.

I ainβt perfect but I try to be a decent person and feel it when I fail.
Ainβt much but itβs all folk can do, I think.
But someone like Marcus Rube π
I think they live in very delusional worlds.
I imagine he doesnβt question his actions so much as justify them.
I think the first step is worshiping money and power, and the second step is selling one's soul for more of it.
The fact that you have the self-awareness to recognize your "failures" is an important step in keeping your soul intact.
I cannot fathom the bleak nothingness in the souls of people who support all of this.
does he think everyone else is as stupid as his weird cult?
