Genuine question: does anyone actually enjoy hanging out on LinkedIn and consuming content? Or is everyone only engaging there because they either want a job or are creating content themselves?

I think you’re right. I avoid all feeds as best I can, including LinkedIn, so I mostly fall under the create-and-engage part. But I’ve found surprising value in DMing folks with whom I’ve already got a relationship (not selling), since nothing has replaced Twitter DMs (maybe distantly IG).
I find some of the content helpful but the comments are so lame.
Very few people actually saying anything. Mostly wanting to sound like a thought leader themselves. And no one talking to one another - only replies are from the OP.
I’ve been actually connecting with people Threads lately.
I've been enjoying it for the most part. There is a good amount of copycat posts in there, but feel like that'll end eventually once LinkedIn penalizes people from stealing content from others and reposting it as their own?

I connect with a few people, read a couple posts, then forget it again.
