I admit they're smart and quite fast, but unlike flames they're not wok-shaped, and not quite fast enough either.
It's not even close.
There's even an old expression for "now things are *really* going fast/well" - "now you're cooking on gas" :)
Generally I'm 💚 but i'd keep gas cooking as my one indulgence.
