LA does have a city wide med program that’s HBCU. California sadly doesn’t have HBCUs by systemic design. The Bay Area one folded. The Bay Area surprisingly has a HBCU community and I think that’s what they meant. But it was 2M between those communities, others, and venture - assuming via Kapor Cap.
