The sanctions will be next, Russia will ensure they are lifted before any ‘peace’ talks are considered, they are playing the US like a fiddle.

Taiwan is already gone in my estimation. I think it’s beyond saving. It’s militarily unviable. If America tries it will get a very bloody nose and a Phyrric victory at best that will leave it militarily deeply vulnerable and humbled.

Militarily difficult yes, but there are / economic levers China can’t yet withstand. However if Europe is in a trade war with US & a real war with Russia, then it’s difficult for EU to economically sever itself from China. This gives China an economic lifeline they couldn’t have imagined until now

If the PRC do invade Taiwan, as we've discussed before it would create one hell of a mess as it's a tough nut to access.

About a week ago The Analyst wrote a piece on current capabilities. There are about 6-8 countries with dedicated satellites. In addition the ones available publicly now have amazing capabilities that not too long ago was available only for military use.
