This and the cascading quotes are hitting an issue I've been frustrated about for a long time: the way we've set up "getting a job", companies expect college to be job training that the worker pays for, which hurts both workers that do and dont go to college.

Also throwing this out there: pure training is not really the job of a university. Universities provide educations that may or may not include skill training, but also exist to do research and teach a wide range of topics that make students better citizens of the world, not just better employees
