Depends. They wake up every morning and have to decide whether to nail themselves to a cross or burn one that day, so they might be too busy to crucify anyone else.
Why aren’t they bold enough to just admit and say:
“We’re tired of waiting for Jesus to come out of the sky and kill everyone we don’t like, so fuck that dude and his life story. Donald Trump is our new Lord and Savior.”
This is what they are saying with their actions, and they speak very loudly.
Money changers. All Jews had to pay a Temple Tax in shekels, which many didn't have. The money changers usually gave the a poor rate of exchange converting their drachmas or sesterces to shekels. In the Gospels of Mark, Matthew, Luke and John it's written about the cleansing of buyers and sellers
G-d commands the Jews to tithe in Deuteronomy 14:22-26. If people were coming from far away, they were directed to bring $ to purchase their items for tithing. Money changers were there to exchange coins with graven images for shekels that could be used to in the Temple complex.
The observant taxpayers didn't get a fair shake at all.
Why else were "The buyers and sellers in the Temple" so roundly condemned and Jesus made it his personal mission to cleanse the Temple? All the Gospels make a big point of this action. Are you defending the guilty?
Have you ever considered that the Gospels are not an accurate source of information about Jewish practice? The Gospels were written generations after the fact by people who saw the Pharisees as competition. The early Xtians were also trying to curry favor with Rome, which was no fan of the Jews
