I really want to get solar panels, one of my friends got them for his house & his monthly payment (he financed the panels with no money down) is about 25% of my electric bill

For reasons I don't totally understand there's not a lot of interest in reporting this, but 2023 was not only the best year for solar power in history, it was over 50% higher than the previous best year. The pace of increase is only accelerating now. www.popularmechanics.com/science/gree...

The “plans” to have solar pretty much results in you paying the highest price when you would be using the power. 5a-9a and 5a-8/9p
Our bill was lower BUT we were paying on the panels.
And if you need more equipment- battery/supply regulator the price owed goes up a ton.
