funnily enough when we were deciding to change their race and randomly said like "what if they (rida/luca) were cuttlefish", the pipeline to flamboyant cuttlefish for luca was so obvious that it was surprising we'd never thought about it before considering their matching colours-

also the name for cuttlefish inkfish in our universe is "cutlites" (cuttlefish-ite) which is like a three layered pun
- sounds like cutlet because haha food pun
- (-lite) is a low fat/sugar version of a food product
- the (-lite) is a suffix for minerals; fitting for their hair's jewel patterns
