What an absolute gut punch to young American women. I am as dismayed as she is by the sublime unconcern of the boys in her school. It's as if they have zero interest in anything but their own pleasures.

And it sadly reflects my own belief that women have no value in our society.

Boys can't imagine themselves getting pregnant when they imagine themselves as a girl.

Oh, for sure. For a small blip of time the norms shifted to where it was at least paid lip service as being Bad and somewhat politically damaging for a man to be a rapist, before the raging screaming reactionary response to that honestly anodyne moment got us where we are again now
