I was lucky enough to have an arcade about an hour drive away that had $25 flat fee to play all of the Bemani games they had

Guitar Freaks, Drummania & IIDX are some of my favorite things and they all got fucked up in the US lol

It sucks because so much of gaming is combat based. Kill this. Shoot this. Slash based. And here comes this genre that lets you live out your dream of being a rock star. You even learn a little bit about music composition. It was massively popular. And they just had to squash it.
