I know I haven't been streaming a whole lot lately anyways, but man, twitch just keeps making it harder and harder to want to press the button. I guess I understand the feelings of people who never throw away old photo albums.

Maybe nobody will ever watch some of my old highlights. Eventually, I'll put them on YouTube or something and they'll likely sit at 0 views until the end of time. But at some point, those videos meant a whole lot to me. I saved them because they were important to me. And now twitch is killing that.
Twitch is looking me straight in the eye and saying, "those memories you made, those fun times you shared with others? Yeah they ain't worth shit to us, we gotta pinch pennies for the shareholders."
Why would I ever wanna create memories there again?
This highlight limit is far from the worst thing they've done, but maybe, for me, it's the proverbial straw breaking the camel's back.
I'm gonna stream this Saturday, the one day I've been consistent about, and stream Tooie, my favorite game of all time, but after that, idk. Maybe this is it.
Twitch doesn't care about me. They consistently make it more and more frustrating for me to provide the best content that I can. They shovel out new features that no one asked for, and cut ones that were beloved by creators and viewers of all sizes.
