Seriously, this is so underutilized. People can search by hashtag, not just the whole of BlueSky, but also just your posts! They can also selectively mute posts they don't care about seeing! It's so convenient, we should all be diligently tagging our stuff! - ThreadSky

then the most popular words trending should be highlighted, but not tags. eliminate the common words such as 'a, and, the, etc." and given that everyone's networks are disparate, you'll never see the popular topics unless they're in your network. anyway. resist twitterfication.

That would be a huge waste of bandwidth for the number of actual clicks it would generate. Very few words per post need linked and removing the most common wouldn't help ⬅️ Look. Am I asking for help? Offering help?

Linking that to other uses just makes things harder. A hash gives it purpose.

Okay you just convinced me to try to figure it out - I was trying to right click and "open in new tab" by reflex (cause that's what I do with links) but it's a context menu. And it works! - Thanks! 8-)
