Went to my local pharmacy last week and got the MMR vaccine. Hardest part was waiting in line, a LOT of people were getting their vaccine boosters.

Scheduled mine already. I was in college when Siena College had a measles outbreak in the late 80s because there were batches that did not confer immunity.

I did this in 2019 - they didn't even ask for me to do a titer check first, just gave me the vaccine on my office visit.

Nice thing about CUNY in the 90s: offering free MMR shots to students to make sure everyone was covered. I didn't have my childhood vax records, so got 2 from the school.

And then I got an update again last year. Like you, no one asked questions, and insurance paid for it.

I got boosted before my kid was born when I was 48, making sure to keep him safe. Also, because I don't have my childhood records, I got boosted when I started my second round of college when I was 31.
