Today in NJ, the GEO Group and DHS announced that Delaney Hall, a privately owned jail contracted by ICE between 2011 and 2017 and the subject of recent lawsuits, will reopen in Newark with the capacity to detain up to 1,000 people—more than quadrupling detention capacity in the state.
