like honestly you could seastead in places that are probably biorenewable via like local ocean farming and renewable fishing on pure tidal/solar power but I'm 100% sure without even checking they aren't doing that

Also weather effects. The history of Stiltsville in South Florida is kind of a fun example of all this, esp after the primary structures fractured and failed (and all the efforts to rehabilitate it, prior to abandoning).

Kinda wonder what the ruins look like now, several hurricanes later.
