Most of them would do better by just getting a job, any job, and building real-world experience. Half your insights won't even land before they do this.

combo of hearing "you've stated the problem, now state the solution" growing up, natural tendency to want to help (especially if I know an answer), not wanting to sit by and do nothing, etc
One additional thing is that despite the disproportionate salaries were all too cheap to spend money on education - so if your end goal in content creation is to sell something, that's arguably a tough crowd. 🙃
Yeah, perhaps that's it. But I didn't think of it at "taking away the fun". It feels more like we're more likely to spend money on random stuff, but not for things I could either *learn or build myself* that would actually improve my work.

I honestly think "You don't have to comment on everything" is an important growth area for me
We're also for the most part not incentivized to learn quickly. The faster you need to learn, the more sense it makes to pay
Personally I stopped buying courses because the cost of time to go through it all far eclipses the sticker price.
